Fish Out of Water is an new outdoor, television series that features our urban, funny, unassuming host, Don Kelly, on a demanding new adventure every week to his traditional native land and through a series of misadventures, pushes his limited limits to re-connect with his roots and spiritual values - leading to a renewed vitality and vibrancy for life. Don Kelly, or as his friends call him, Fish Out of Water, is a young, modern, Native professional. What he wants most is to rediscover his roots by going back to the land and discovering Aboriginal outdoor adventures.
By having Don outside his comfort zone, the audience get to be vicariously inspired and enriched through his experiences, determination, sense of humour and often poignant moments as he explores the rich diversity of the native cultures.
